While you might think finding jewelry is no big deal, we beg to differ. In fact, we think that wedding jewelry has the ability to make or break an entire wedding look!

Don’t worry; we’re here to guide you along in choosing what type of jewelry you want to wear.

With so many options to choose from, the first question you must ask yourself is whether you even want to wear jewelry or not. Of course, you’ll likely wear your wedding ring but other than that, are you wearing a necklace, bracelet(s), earrings, and/or a headpiece?

If you aren’t sure, take a look at this infographic, courtesy of Simply Bridal, below. It should help you decide which accessories will work with your dress on your big day.

Once you have an idea of types the jewelry that you want to wear, the real fun begins: choosing the jewelry!

First, decide whether you’re going to wear silver, gold, platinum, pearls or rose gold for your wedding. Don’t just think about the color of your dress as suggested in the infographic, also think about your personal preference. If you never wear gold jewelry, why would you start on your wedding? Same goes for the amount of jewelry you decide on wearing. If you don’t generally wear any jewelry, you might just stick to wearing your ring and an elegant pair of earrings or a simple bracelet. If you ask us, you can never go wrong with a gorgeous pair of silver earrings – the color works seamlessly against the simplicity of a white gown.

Whatever kind (and amount) of jewelry you decide upon, make sure you absolutely love it! After all, you’re only a bride for a day!
